PRIVACY POLICY

Safe Kids Videos

Last updated: Nov 3, 2026

Cedar Frame Technologies LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates Safe Kids Videos. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, shared, and deleted through our mobile application (“App”), website, related account services, and support services (collectively, the “Services”).

Safe Kids Videos helps parents and guardians select YouTube videos and channels and manage children's viewing through parental controls.

Although parents and guardians manage accounts, children's use of the App can generate information such as viewing history, search requests, and technical information.

We recognize the importance of children's privacy and seek to handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Please do not send us your parental PIN, password, or other sign-in secrets.

2. Information We Collect

We collect and process information needed to operate the Services, provide parental controls, manage subscriptions, maintain security, and support users.

Account and Settings

We process your username, email address where used as your username, account identifier, sign-in verification information, and account settings.

Settings can include parental controls, viewing schedules, time limits, and plan or device-limit settings.

Some older accounts use a username rather than an actual email address.

We also record the date an account was created to determine when its initial 30-day Free Limited period begins and ends.

Saved Content and Viewing Activity

We store saved video and channel identifiers, associated titles and images supplied by YouTube, dates added, and selections to hide or keep videos.

Watch history records video identifiers and when videos were opened.

This information supports saved content, parental controls, and viewing-related features.

Searches

Search terms are sent to YouTube to provide search results.

The App also keeps your most recent searches on your device.

Crash and Technical Information

Firebase Crashlytics receives crash reports containing information such as stack traces, device model, operating system, App version, timestamps, and an installation identifier.

We do not intentionally attach your account identifier or email address to these reports.

Advertising Information

The current App does not use a separate advertising SDK. YouTube and website privacy are described separately below.

An IP address may reveal approximate location.

See Section 8 for additional advertising information.

Playback Errors

We maintain shared records of videos that cannot play, including the video identifier, error code, timestamp, and country code taken from the device's region setting.

These records do not include an account identifier.

The country code is not obtained through GPS.

Plan and Subscription Information

We record the date your account was created, which starts the 30-day Free Limited period.

If you subscribe to a paid plan through Google Play, Google Play processes the payment.

We receive and store subscription information including:

·        The purchase token issued by Google Play.

·        The subscription plan selected.

·        The selected billing period, such as monthly or annually.

·        Subscription status, including whether it is active, in a free trial, canceled, expired, or another status reported by Google Play.

·        Whether the subscription is set to renew automatically.

·        The subscription's current expiration or renewal date and purchase acknowledgement status.

We use this information to activate paid features, manage access to paid features, and verify purchases, renewals, cancellations, and expiration through the Google Play Developer API.

We do not receive your payment-card number, billing name, or billing address from Google Play.

If subscriptions are subsequently offered through Apple's App Store, comparable purchase and subscription information may be processed as necessary to provide those subscriptions.

We also send Google Play a protected account reference at checkout to match the purchase to your App account.

Security and Deletion Requests

Our account services process information needed to verify requests, prevent repeated sign-in attempts, and complete account deletions.

This can include an account identifier, masked email address, protected hashes of email or IP addresses, request status, and timestamps.

Phone Sign-in Protection

When signing into an existing account from another Android phone, the App sends a one-way hash of its app-specific device identifier. The raw Android identifier stays on the phone. The server stores a further protected hash, the failed-attempt count, and lock status to prevent PIN guessing. After 50 consecutive incorrect PINs, the phone is blocked from signing into existing accounts. The lock expires 30 days after the last counted failure or can be cleared by support. A successful sign-in clears an unlocked record.

Support Communications

If you contact us, we receive the information you provide, including your email address and the contents of your message.

If you voluntarily opt into optional text-message communications, we may process the telephone number, consent information, and messaging preferences needed to provide those communications.

We do not intend to direct marketing messages to children.

Our hosting and service providers also process technical information needed to deliver requests, including IP addresses and server logs.

3. Information Stored on Your Device

The App stores some information locally, including:

·        Sign-in state.

·        A parental PIN used for local controls.

·        Recent searches.

·        Cached video information.

·        Viewing-limit settings.

A device name and randomly generated device identifier are also stored locally.

These particular locally stored values are separate from identifiers that advertising and diagnostic services may process.

Local information is separate from information stored in your online account.

Deleting locally stored information does not necessarily delete information maintained in the online account.

Cached YouTube search results stay on the phone for up to seven days. Channel search results saved on the phone expire after 30 days and are removed when the App starts. View counts used for sorting are held in memory.

4. How We Use Information

We use information to:

·        Create and manage accounts and verify sign-in.

·        Save videos, channels, settings, and watch history.

·        Provide video searches and playback.

·        Apply parental controls, schedules, and viewing limits.

·        Track the 30-day Free Limited period.

·        Verify subscriptions and payments through Google Play.

·        Activate paid features and apply device and plan limits.

·        Check subscription renewals, cancellations, and expiration.

·        Manage website privacy choices where applicable.

·        Diagnose crashes and playback problems.

·        Protect accounts and prevent fraud or misuse.

·        Respond to customer support and privacy requests.

·        Verify and complete account deletions.

·        Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We seek to limit personal-information processing to the purposes described in this Policy or other purposes permitted by applicable law.

5. Children's Privacy and Parental Controls

Safe Kids Videos is designed for children's use with parental or guardian involvement.

Parents and guardians should manage account setup, account contact information, subscriptions, and parental controls.

Information Generated by Children's Use

Information generated during a child's use may include:

·        Viewing activity and watch history.

·        Search requests.

·        Saved video and channel information.

·        Installation identifiers.

·        Technical information received by our providers and YouTube.

We do not describe the Service as collecting no information from children.

Parental Access and Control

Parents and guardians can contact us to:

·        Ask what personal information we hold about their child.

·        Request access to that information.

·        Request correction of inaccurate information.

·        Request deletion.

·        Refuse further collection or use where applicable.

·        Request deletion of the associated account.

We may need to verify the requester's identity and authority before completing a request.

Some requests may require closing the account or discontinuing features that require the relevant information.

Parental Consent

Agreeing to this Privacy Policy, creating an account, or setting a parental PIN does not replace any separate parental notice or verifiable parental consent required by law.

Where applicable law requires separate verifiable parental consent, that requirement must be satisfied through an appropriate process.

Advertising consent does not substitute for parental consent required under children's privacy laws.

YouTube Content Classifications

YouTube's “made for kids” designation is a children's-privacy designation.

It is not an independent safety review or age rating.

Parents and guardians remain responsible for evaluating content and determining what is appropriate for their children.

6. YouTube and Google Services

Safe Kids Videos uses YouTube API Services to search for videos and obtain information such as video titles, thumbnails, channel details, and availability.

Videos play through YouTube's embedded player.

Search terms and video or channel identifiers are sent to YouTube.

The App does not intentionally attach your Safe Kids Videos account identifier to these API requests. However, Google may receive technical information, including your IP address.

YouTube's player may collect information about your device and viewing activity and may store or access cookies or similar technologies.

YouTube may also display advertisements.

YouTube controls advertising in its own player.

Solo does not remove advertisements shown by YouTube.

Google's handling of information is described in the:

Google Privacy Policy

Use of YouTube services is subject to the:

YouTube Terms of Service

Safe Kids Videos does not ask for your YouTube password.

The App prompts for the parent PIN before opening certain YouTube player links, sharing from the player, or allowing a suggested video to play. If the action opens another service, that service handles the information it receives under its own policies.

7. Service Providers and Disclosures

We use third-party providers to operate the Services.

Google Firebase and Google Cloud

We use Google Firebase and Google Cloud services for authentication, database storage, hosting, crash reporting, and account-related server functions.

Google AdMob

The current App does not use Google AdMob. We will update this policy before adding a separate advertising SDK.

Google may independently process certain advertising and technical information according to its applicable policies.

Google Play and App Store Services

Subscriptions are sold and billed through Google Play and, if offered, Apple's App Store.

We use the Google Play Developer API to confirm purchases, renewals, cancellations, and other relevant subscription changes.

Google Play processes payment information according to its own terms and privacy policy.

If Apple subscriptions become available, Apple processes payments according to its applicable terms and privacy policy.

Account-Related Email Services

We use Google's email services to deliver account-deletion verification messages and related account communications.

Website Hosting

Our public website is hosted through GoHighLevel.

When you follow a link from our website to a hosted account service, that service processes the information submitted to it.

Other Disclosures

Providers receive information needed to deliver their services.

Google, YouTube, and other independent providers may also process information under their applicable policies.

We may disclose information when legally required or when reasonably necessary to investigate misuse, respond to valid legal requests, or protect the Services and their users.

We do not intentionally sell children's personal information or disclose children's individual viewing histories for behavioral advertising.

8. Advertising

The current App has no Safe Kids Videos banner ads and does not request ads through Google AdMob. YouTube may show its own ads in its embedded player on any plan. See Section 6 for information about YouTube and Google.

For website cookies and tracking choices, see the Cookie Policy and use the website’s privacy controls.

9. Analytics and Payment Information

Analytics

We use Firebase Crashlytics for crash diagnostics.

The App does not use:

·        Firebase Analytics.

·        Google Analytics.

·        YouTube Analytics API.

YouTube processes information through its player under Google’s privacy policy.

Payments and Subscriptions

Safe Kids Videos does not ask you to enter payment-card details directly into the App.

Subscriptions are purchased through Google Play or, if offered, Apple's App Store.

The applicable app store handles payment information under its own terms and privacy policy.

We receive subscription details necessary to verify purchases and provide paid features, as described in Section 2.

We do not receive payment-card numbers, billing names, or billing addresses from Google Play.

10. How Long Information Is Kept

Account information, saved content, and settings are generally retained until you remove them or delete your account.

Our retention settings are designed as follows:

Watch history: 90 days, unless cleared earlier.

YouTube metadata: Refreshed periodically. Stale titles, thumbnails, and channel names are removed from inactive saved lists after 30 days. Saved video and channel identifiers may remain until the entry or account is deleted.

Local YouTube caches: Expire after 30 days.

Crash reports: Generally retained by Firebase for approximately 90 days.

Deletion-request records: 30 days.

Account creation date and plan status: Retained until the account is deleted.

Subscription purchase records: Purchase tokens, subscription status, and related account-associated subscription information are retained while the account exists so purchases, renewals, and cancellations can be verified. These account-associated records are removed when the account is deleted. Records associated with accounts deleted inside the App may be removed through a daily cleanup process.

Temporary deleted-account markers: 7 days.

Failed sign-in counters: Up to 7 days, with counters cleared following successful sign-in where applicable.

Short-term request rate-limit records: Approximately 2 hours.

Application function logs: Generally 30 days.

Automatic deletion is not necessarily instantaneous when a retention period expires.

Shared playback-error records are not linked to accounts and may remain after account deletion.

Support correspondence and email delivery records are handled separately from App records.

We retain support information as needed to resolve requests and address related operational or legal obligations.

Email providers may retain delivery information under their own policies.

Information independently processed by Google, Google Play, and YouTube is subject to their applicable retention policies.

The App-record retention periods above do not establish how long those third parties retain all information they independently collect.

New phone-security records are scheduled for deletion 30 days after the last counted incorrect PIN. Older records created before automatic expiry was added may remain until support removes them. Device-security records are separate from account records.

11. Access, Correction, and Account Deletion

You can manage available settings and saved content within the App.

You can also contact [email protected] to request access, correction, or deletion of your information.

Deleting Your Account in the App

Open:

Settings → Delete account and data

Follow the verification and confirmation steps provided.

Requesting Deletion Without the App

If you no longer have the App, contact:

[email protected]

Include your username so we can locate the account.

Do not include your parental PIN or password.

Providing a username alone does not authorize deletion. We need to verify account ownership.

Online Deletion Verification

Where our online deletion form is available, enter your Username (email address).

Eligible accounts receive a single-use verification link at the email address associated with that username.

Opening the verification link does not delete the account. A separate confirmation is required.

Verification links expire after 60 minutes.

Older accounts without a usable email address, and users who cannot access their inbox, should contact support for assistance.

What Happens When an Account Is Deleted

Account deletion removes the authentication account and associated account records, settings, saved lists, watch history, and account-associated subscription records.

Some records may be removed through a scheduled cleanup process rather than immediately.

Limited security, deletion-processing, and diagnostic records may remain for the periods described in Section 10.

A phone that is offline cannot receive a deletion update immediately.

Its local App data is cleared when the App next connects and detects the deleted account.

Deleting your Safe Kids Videos account does not automatically delete information independently held by Google, Google Play, or YouTube.

Uninstalling the App does not itself delete your online account.

Subscription Cancellation Is Separate

If you have an active app-store subscription, manage or cancel it through the store where you purchased it.

Deleting your Safe Kids Videos account does not automatically cancel that subscription.

12. Security and Processing Locations

We use encrypted connections, account access controls, and restricted server-side credentials to help protect personal information.

No system can guarantee absolute security.

Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate.

Privacy laws may differ between locations.

Where international transfers are subject to applicable data-protection requirements, we will use legally appropriate transfer mechanisms and safeguards.

13. Privacy Rights and International Users

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have additional rights concerning your personal information.

These may include the right to:

·        Request information about processing.

·        Access personal information.

·        Request correction of inaccurate information.

·        Request deletion.

·        Restrict or object to particular processing.

·        Request a portable copy of information, where applicable.

·        Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

·        Exercise applicable advertising-related privacy choices.

·        File a complaint with an appropriate privacy or data-protection authority.

Certain rights may be subject to legal requirements, exceptions, or verification procedures.

European Economic Area and United Kingdom

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on applicable legal bases for processing personal information.

Depending on the processing activity, these may include:

Performance of a contract: Processing needed to provide account access, saved content, subscriptions, viewing settings, and parental-control features.

Legitimate interests: Processing necessary for certain security, fraud-prevention, troubleshooting, and operational purposes where legally permitted and not overridden by applicable individual rights.

Legal obligations: Processing necessary to comply with applicable laws.

Consent: Processing for which consent is legally required, including certain advertising-related activities and processing involving children's information.

The applicable legal basis depends on the processing activity.

Separate requirements may apply to storing or accessing information on a user's device.

Where legally applicable, individuals may submit complaints to the relevant national or regional data-protection authority.

United States State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional privacy rights under applicable state laws.

These may include rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain certain information and opt out of specified advertising-related processing.

We will honor applicable rights in accordance with legal requirements.

We do not intentionally sell children's personal information or use children's individual viewing histories for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Exercising Your Rights

You may submit privacy requests to:

[email protected]

We may request reasonable information to verify your identity or parental authority.

We will respond within applicable legal timeframes.

We will not unlawfully discriminate against users for exercising applicable privacy rights.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our Services, technology, legal obligations, or information-handling practices change.

We will update the “Last updated” date when revisions are published.

Where legally required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
